About Certified Fireplace & Chimney
Certified Fireplace & Chimney (CFAC) is a top-rated fireplace and chimney servicer in the greater Topeka, KS areas. They strive to be the leading experts in their industry, safely serving their clients with expert fireplace remodeling, chimney repairs, and more. They do this by continually training, mandating their technicians receive and maintain the most daunting level of credentials in the industry—the CSIA certification—and by staying up to date with ever-changing building codes, distributor updates, and industry products.
The Challenge
CFAC was in desperate need of a new website that would promote a more professional look, and improve inbound lead-generation. Their previous website was outdated, riddled with bugs, and had a poor mobile experience. Generally, their website was not designed with the goal of conversion optimization or for a friendly user-experience. Alongside their website design and development issues, they had a disjointed and messing search presence that led to many 404 errors. Other SEO issues detected in our pre-project SEO audit included duplicate content, broken links, missing Alt Text, unoptimized Page Titles, missing Meta Descriptions, and much more.

The website design team here at Command reimagined CFAC’s website, from the ground-up. We started by devising a site architecture (or “sitemap”) that included all of the pertinent content that would help them improve their search engine presence, generate targeted website traffic, and convert more inbound leads. We worked closely with the CFAC team to present their unique, branded, and conversion-optimized website design—carefully planning out each page design to best cater to their target audience. Once we finalized the website design, our development team developed a fast-loading, SEO-friendly, mobile-responsive website that brought their online presence to new heights. Upon launch of the website, we conducted another SEO audit and performed fixes for any errors and warnings detected, in order to get their website over 94% SEO Health Score.
Since launching their new website and correcting the technical SEO errors, the CFAC website has seen a surge in website leads. Their organic and local search impressions have also skyrocketed by as much as 232%, for critical search terms.
